Water-based dye sub ink basic overview
Water-based dye sub ink, also known as water-based dye sublimation ink, has the core feature of using water as solvent base and combining it with sublimable dyes. During the printing process, the sublimation of the ink dyes is achieved through high temperatures (usually with the help of heat transfer device), which allows the ink to penetrate into the interior of the substrate, thus realizing the transfer and fixation of colors.

Water-based dye sub ink main advantages and precautions
Advantages: Vibrant colors, good adhesion, low corrosiveness to printing equipment, and compatibility with some original ink cartridges
Precautions: Requires high-temperature transfer process, selective to the material of the substrate to be printed (e.g., polyester works better), and storage be sealed and moisture-proof.

FAQ
Q: What are the application fields of water-based dye sub ink ?
A: Water-based dye sub ink is not only suitable for clothing, but also widely used on various materials such as ceramics, glass, metal, plastic, cottoniles, etc. For example, through the heat transfer technology, patterns can be transferred to the surface of different materials such as cups, decorations, and electronic product shells meeting the diversified printing needs.
Q: What to pay attention to when storing water-based dye sub ink?
A: Heat transfer ink is a chemical formulation, and its stability is significantly affected by the environment. Improper storage can lead to pigment settling, viscosity, clogged nozzles, and even failure. Therefore, it is essential to adhere to the following basic conditions:
Avoid light: Direct sunlight accelerates the aging ink components, leading to a decline in performance.
Sealed: After use, make sure to tighten the cap to prevent air from entering and causing oxidation or solvent evaporation
Prevent contamination: Keep the bottle opening clean to avoid impurities from mixing in and affecting print quality.
Avoid mixing: Different brands or models of ink may have incompatible components and mixing can easily trigger chemical reactions.
