Environmental Requirements:
UV ink crosslinks easily when exposed to light or heat. Therefore, The temperature should ideally be kept between 18-25°C and the humidity between 55% and 65%. Environmental hygiene is also crucial. Excessive dust particles in the air can easily enter the UC ink tank or become adsorbed on the label material. These particles can then fall into the ink when the container is opened, affecting print quality. It's best to store UV ink tightly sealed to avoid dust.
Storage Requirements:
UV ink storage racks should be made of corrosion-resistant materials such as metal or stainless steel and placed below the floor to prevent leakage and corrosion of other items. Store UV ink away from sources of fire and heat to prevent accidents.
Storage Requirements:
1. UV ink bottles should be black, opaque, and the caps should be black. Avoid fragile materials such as glass. Keep a 3-5cm gap between ink bottles to prevent them from colliding.
2. The ink storage room should maintain a constant temperature, ideally avoiding a significant temperature difference between the ink storage room and the printing room. If the temperature difference is significant, place the ink in the printing room in advance. This will not only help stabilize the ink's performance but also ensure high production efficiency.
3. Avoid storing ink in a dry environment. In winter, when temperatures are cold, avoid storing ink outdoors to prevent gelling. If gelling occurs, transfer the ink to a warmer storage room or place it in hot water to restore the insoluble matter.
