1. UV ink should be handled with care. Avoid violent movements such as throwing or dropping to avoid ink splashing onto skin. Technicians should also wear gloves.
2. When storing and managing UV ink, adhere to the "first in, first out" principle. UV ink purchased first should be used first to prevent prolonged storage and the degradation of ink's performance.
3. Any remaining ink after printing must be sealed and stored in a dark place for reuse in future production. Before reuse, it must be filtered through a filter. This ensures that the ink is thoroughly stirred before mixing with new ink and effectively prevents clogging of the UV flatbed printer's printhead.
4. UV ink also has a shelf life. If stored for too long, the various components in the ink formula may separate and precipitate. Therefore, ink should not be stored for long periods of time; generally, a shelf life of about one year is recommended. Otherwise, print quality may be affected and even printing failures may occur.
